13th Annual Lake Harriet Kite Festival on Saturday, Jan 18th!

Come out and join us for a fun-filled day of activities at Lake Harriet in Minneapolis! Event includes kite flying, stunt kite demonstration, horse drawn wagon rides, kids ice fishing expo, mulled apple cider, hot cocoa, marshmallow roasting, snowshoeing and more. Kites to be available at the lake for those who come without one
Directions: From I-35W in Minneapolis, exit at 46th Street. Go west to East Lake Harriet Parkway and turn right. Follow the parkway to the north side of the lake. Parking is available along the parkway and in lots near the bandshell.
In case of extreme weather or poor ice conditions, the event will be re-scheduled for Saturday, January 25, 2014. Event updates as a result of extreme weather or poor ice conditions will be posted Friday afternoon on www.eastharriet.org.
