For further information on the history and purpose of OSOW, see http://earthnet.net/~jpa/osow/
Minnesota Kite Society (MKS) is one of many organizations that will be observing OSOW with a kite fly.
We will be flying in the open field next to the Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Corn Maze this year. The kite flying is free, to enter the Maze will require purchase of a ticket to the Maze. Here is a link to the website for the Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Maze. The Maze has a lot of fun family activities too. http://www.twincitiesmaze.com/ (If you purchase a ticket for the Maze before noon there is a $1 discount.)
