22nd Annual Hudson Hot Air Affair

Hudson Hot Air Affair is a 3-day city festival featuring hot air ballooning. Festival includes a kite fly on Saturday afternoon put on by the Minnesota Kite Society. The public is welcomed and encouraged to participate in the kite fly. Bring your own kite or purchase one at the kite fly. Event is FREE.

We had a lot of fun. The weather wasn't great for either kiting or ballooning but there was the usual great turnout for the event.

Winds were really light but picked up later in the day so we were able to put up some kites.

The clouds were to low to allow the balloons to launch but in the afternoon they did inflate them for the crowd, just did not launch.
