The MKS had 6 members from the Twin Cities go to Siren, WI for their St. Patricks Day celebration kite fly on Crooked Lake.

This was the 2nd annual kite fly. It was a breezy day, but decent flying. We were able to put up a couple of big sled kites along with a variety of smaller kites. John Kaulbars and Ken Wilkowski flew some duel line stunters.

Attending from the MKS were Dave Herzig, Ken Wilkowski, John Kaulbars, Tom Cross, Brad Klages and Dean Murray.

It was a fun day of flying. The community support is greatly appreciated. There was a steady drive by, early on there were people stopping by to fly. As the afternoon came attendance dropped off for the St Patrick's day parade.

Here are some pictures. Per usual, I missed a lot of shots, busy flying. If you attended and took some pictures you would like to share on our website (we credit the photographer), please send us a note on the Contact Us page.
