This event is rescheduled from April when it was canceled for inclement weather.

What an excellent day! We were fortunate to have sunny skies during the event. The rain held off until late afternoon. The winds were pretty good. It was a good day to bring out your light wind kites, about 8-10mph.

There was a good turnout of kids. Lot's of free kites supplied by the Kiwani's club filled the air.

MKS members attended and flew a variety of single line kites. It was a fun day.

Special thanks go out to the Kiwani's club for putting this event on every year. It's a great time.

Here are some KAP (Kite Aerial Photography) pictures from later in the afternoon at the fly. The attendance had thinned out some at that time. If you were at the fly and took pictures you would like to share we would love to post them here. Please contact us and we'll get them on the website.
