Jordan Art Fair Fly

Sat, June 25, 11am – 3pm

Jordan Middle School, 500 Sunset Drive # B, Jordan, MN 55352 (map)

Event is a Fun Fly for MKS members. But the public is welcome to attend and bring kites to fly. Directions: From the junction of I-494 and Hwy 169, take Hwy 169 south about 22 miles to Jordan, MN. Turn left at the stoplight at 2nd Street W. Go 1/4 mile, then take the first right turn at Creek Lane S. Go uphill on Creek Lane S. about 4/10 mile, then turn right at Sunset Drive. The school will be on your right just past Cedar Lane Drive.

The winds were light but strong enough to get up some kites. We had some visitors from the nearby Pork in the Park BBQ (Thanks! The sandwiches were great!). We also had some folks stop by and fly stunt kites with us.

Ken Wilkowski got to fly his Fled kite and his Red Octopus for the first time. Steve Barker was able to get his Roller kite and circoflex kite out. Dave McKeen had some delta kites up. Dean Murray had a DC and a delta flying. John Kaulbars had some stunt kites.

Thanks again to the Jordan Art Festival for including us in your event.
