Minnesota Garlic Festival (with kids kite making workshop and kite fly: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.)

While the Garlic Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the kids kite making workshop and kite fly are scheduled only from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. FFI, see http://www.sfa-mn.org/2011/02/05/garlic-festival/ Admission: Adults - $5; Children under 12: $3 Directions: Hutchinson is about 55 miles west of Minneapolis on Hwy 7. Fairgrounds are on the south side of town on Century Avenue west of Hwy 15 and the Hutchinson Mall.

Dave Herzig put on another successful kids kite making workshop at the Minnesota Garlic Festival in Hutchinson, MN. His kite workshops have become a favorite of those attending the festival.

The festival was also attended by Ken Wilkowski, Tom Cross, David McKeen and Dean Murray who flew kites.

Thank you to the organizers and volunteers at the Garlic Festival that helped with the kite making workshop.
