- Flying of large show kites by professional kite fliers from all over the Midwest.

Includes food, music and door prizes. Event is FREE and open to the public!

The municipal airport in Jackson is closed to aircraft during the hours of the festival.

Directions: Jackson, MN is located about 150 miles southwest of Minneapolis, MN at the junction of I-90 and U.S. Hwy 71. The fastest way to get to Jackson from Minneapolis is to take Hwy 169 south to I-90 near the town of Blue Earth, then take I-90 west to Jackson. The airport where this festival occurs is just northeast of the junction of I-90 and Hwy 71.
