Fighter Kites and a Fun Fly tomorrow!!! Yessssss!

On July 20th there will be a fighter kite making workshop (no sew) at the Brunswick United Methodist Church in Crystal. The address is 6122 42nd Avenue North, Crystal, MN 55422 starting at 10:00. There will be a fee, which should be less than $10 and will include materials to build one kite and a room rental fee. After the workshop, there will be a club fly at the Sandberg Middle School just a few blocks away where we can practice our fighter kite flying skills. If you do not have line and a spool for fighter kites, please let Pam know at your earliest convenience and she can order hoop spools and line at the same time the balance of the materials are ordered. July Fun Fly at Sandburg Middle School (MKS)

This is a regular monthly kite fly for Minnesota Kite Society (MKS) members. Non-members are welcomed to participate too. Everyone is encouraged to bring a kite to fly. Directions: From Hwy 100 in Golden Valley, exit at Duluth Street. Go west about 1/2 mile to the stoplight at Douglas Drive and turn right. Go north to the next intersection at Sandburg Road and turn left. Park in the school lot on the right at the top of the hill or along the north side of the street.
