One Sky One World Kite Fly.

When: Sunday, October 9, 12pm – 4pm

Where: 109th Ave and Highway 169 in Brooklyn Park, MN (map) (enter on 109th Ave)

Description: One Sky One World (OSOW, also known as "World Kite Day") is the international day of kite flying where people all over the world fly kites annually on the second Sunday of October to promote world peace, friendship among all people, and awareness of environmental concerns. Minnesota Kite Society (MKS) is one of many organizations that will be observing OSOW with a kite fly.

We will be flying in the open field next to the Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Corn Maze this year. The kite flying is free, to enter the Maze will require purchase of a ticket to the Maze.
