KITE MAKING ACTIVITY, 11:00-3:00 pm
Make a kite indoors and then fly it out on Silver Lake. First 40 kite-making kits are free, otherwise they are $6/kit. Ages: All

Join the Minnesota Kite Society on Silver Lake for a winter kite fly. Be a spectator or bring your own kite and join the fun! FREE Ages: All

SNOWMAN MAKING CONTEST, 1:30-3:30 pm
Get creative building a snowman, snow-woman, or snow monster. Bring shovels, props, and natural materials to accessorize. Enter as a team or individual. Judging at 3 PM; Trophies and certificates awarded at 3:30 PM. After, enjoy marshmallow roasting and an indoor concert. FREE. Ages: All.
