Explore Your Parks Day

This event is planned by Washington County Parks to encourage family activities at county parks. This event will occur at Lake Elmo Park Reserve, 1515 Keats Avenue N, Lake Elmo, MN on Saturday, June 4, from noon to 3 p.m. near the beach area. Activities will include: -archery -kayak demos -geocaching -wall climbing -nature programs -kite flying See exhibits by American Red Cross, Sheriff Reserves with K9 unit, and Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Food and music included. Washington County Parks will require vehicle permits at any of its parks on June 4. The public can come and enjoy Washington County parks for free! Directions: From I-94 in Woodbury/Lake Elmo area, exit at Keats Avenue and go north about one mile to Co. Rd. 10. Proceed north through the entrance of Lake Elmo Park Reserve and into the park. When you reach a "T" in the road, turn right and go east into the parking area of the beach. Activities and exhibits will be in that area.
